im gonna try and record Oblivion drumbs today, but holy fuck its hard!!

the kick patterns are so intricate, i dunno if i can play it the way this dude plays it. and theres fuckin ghost notes all over the place. crazy shit. its wearing me out i already practiced it like 8 times haha.

Don't sweat it, dude. Just make it your own. I can guarantee that my bass part won't be exactly what that dude is playing.

obviously i was never able to do that.


i'm starting right now to program drums for Oblivion. and although this will take FOR EVER to get it to sound even half-way decent, i'm just gonna do it a little at a time and try to work thru the song. i'm not gonna be able to set the drumbs up any time soon.


UNLESS somebody else wants to record drums for it. that'd be swell.

Nice. I axed the drummer/guitar player I've known since middle school, but he says his drumming chops aren't good enough. I don't know about that, but its possible that I don't appreciate how hard this tune is on drumbs.
