And you used that with your 200W GK cab?

Does is have a bridge switch? Mine can only be bridged by having it done permanently at the factory. Sucks, as it would be a whole lot more useful if I could bridge it on the fly.

well yeah, sometimes ... but usually with my SVT 410HLF.

It is too much power theoretically for the 2x10 but all you have to do is have enough sense to notice you're overpowering the speakers and back off.
I realize that excludes approximately everyone on Earth except me but I have no problem controlling my volume and recognizing that it won't go any louder.

Yeah, my Crown is switchable to bridged but you can't do it on the fly. You have to power it down and change how the speakers are hooked up.
You can run this one stereo, bridged and bridged MONO which gives you a lower allowed impedance.

Got my J-Station in the mail Friday, but finally took an hour or so and fooled with it today. I liked the bass sound, and (like any processor) not all sounds were to my liking but I found some good rhythm sounds on there.

I recorded a two minute song and uploaded to Soundclick, but for some reason it's taking a while to post.
It should post on the following link sometime today, I reckon...

For some reason, the upload didn't take earlier.
Went back through the process again and it accepted it this time.
Here's a link to the song I used the J-Station on...

Cool. I would have backed off the gain a smidge on the lead, but that's just my taste. Excellent documentation of the process, except that you didn't mention which models you used for what.

Thanks.
I couldn't quite get what I wanted from the melody or lead tone. I'm with you on having less of a saturated tone. I wanted to hear more guitar and less buzz.
That was the PRS on the neck pickup -> J-Station -> Tascam.
I used the Hot Rod setting and -could not- find a happy medium. If I backed the gain off more, the mids cleaned up like they needed but the highs suffered. If I kept the gain where it was, the highs sounded more like what I wanted but the mids & lows were too overdriven and fuzzy with no real definition. I kind of ended up tossing the coin.

I think I may be able to clean that up by going into deep level editing. We'll see soon enough. I think the Pod XT Live pedalboard I have has better presets out-of-the-box, but this thing seems like it has some cool potential.

I guess I need to go back and define which tones I used on Soundclick, but here they are...

* Bass - stock Ibanez SRS-505 5-string -> J-Station on Modern setting (based on SWR bass amp) and slight amount of compression.

* Rhythm guitar (panned right) - '82 Squier Telecaster (Japanese) -> J-Station on Tweed setting with Treble @ 10 o'clock and bass & mids @ 2 o'clock. Slight compression to smooth it out, light reverb for a live room sound.

* Rhythm guitar (panned left) - '96 PRS CE22 on #4 p/u setting -> J-Station on Tweed with mids @ 2'oclock, treble @ 3 o'clock and bass @ 10 o'clock. Added tremolo for texture and light reverb for live room sound.

* Melody and Lead guitar - '96 PRS CE22 on #5 p/u selection (neck) on Hot Rod setting (based loosely on Mesa Boogie Mk II C). I fooled with the J-Station bass, mid, and treble knobs so much I can't exactly say how I had them set. I added the same small dose of reverb that was used on the rhythm guitars for both melody and lead, but added a very slight slapback delay for the lead.
